Design

The brief for this spa was to manufacture a large mosaic tiled oval spa to sit above ground level. The spa has to include an integrated mosaic tiled skirt to allow the spa to be dropped into place quickly. Due to access issues of the building the spa also had to be manufactured in two sections and joined on site. One of the first issues we had to overcome was incorporating the joining flange and volcano feature in the spa without increasing the height of the spa too much. This was achieved by altering the stainless steel support frame. Another issue we had to account for was allowing access to all of the jets and features as there was no access from below. This was achieved by incorporating hidden tiled access panels in the surrounding skirt.
