For this project the brief was to take a tired looking swimming pool and utilise the existing space to create a luxury spa experience within the original structure. The final design created was a curved 11m long vitality spa incorporating an infinity edge. The spa also included two separate seating stations as well as two stainless steel body stations. The bespoke shaped balance tank was also installed directly under the spa channel in the existing pool shell between the structural columns, making the most of the available space. One issue the client had was the access which was through double doors which meant the spa had to be installed in sections. After careful planning we were able to transport and install the spa in only two narrow 11m long sections, which we later joined on site leaving the appearance of a one piece shell. To complement the shape of spa we also produced templates of the exact shape of the spa to help create a complementary lighting ceiling feature directly above the spa. The whole manufacturing process and delivery of the vitality spa was complete within a tight 8 week deadline.
